We finished up some shopping this morning, had a really good lunch and picked up Simon at 3:00 pm (2am EST). He did not cry at all when we picked him up from his foster mother, although she was very emotional. He chatted and giggled on our walk back to the guest house then happily played with us for about half an hour. He seemed to be getting pretty sleepy, so I put him to sleep how his foster mother suggested. He slept for about 45 minutes, then woke up and realized where he was (or wasn't) and has not been very happy since. He cried pretty hard for about an hour. Since then, it's been off and on. Sometimes he is very upset and every now and then we get a little smile. We are hoping to get a little sleep tonight before our long flight tomorrow - hoping.......
Here are some more photos:
Joel on the subway
Jen at our new favorite restaurant - this is the 3rd time we've eaten here. They grill the meat right in front of you on the table, then you wrap the meat, the really yummy peanut sauce and any of the assorted veggies in a leaf of lettuce - lettuce wraps - YUMMY!
Shopping at one of the markets
Getting Simon at the agency
One last photo with the foster mom
Walking back to the guest house
Happy for a minute
Sleeping boy
Well, that's it for now. We will try to update again after we get home.

This is Phil de Haan again, not Gina de Haan. :-) Great pics guys. It was so cool to see a pictorial representation of your travels. Looks like you really saw a nice slice of Seoul life. Food's great eh!
As I write this it is about 5 or 6 am on Saturday and you are readying perhaps for your trip. I hope you got some sleep! You are in my thoughts and prayers my friends.
That trip home with Simon will be long, exciting, tiring and a whole lot more all at once. I pray that your trip will be a time of bonding with Simon and of drawing close to each other as a family. See you soon ...
