Yup, that's right - we finally got the call that Simon is ready for us to come pick him up. We got the call on Monday morning, but had a hard time getting the tickets we wanted for when we wanted to go. We finally got everything confirmed late yesterday afternoon - we are leaving on Saturday, June 9 - yes that is THIS Saturday. We will arrive in Korea on Sunday evening, will have 5 full days in country and will leave to come home on Saturday, June 16.
We are waiting to hear when we will actually get to see Simon. We will likely get to visit him a few times during the week and will get custody of him shortly before we are sheduled to leave for home.
I am going to try to post some photos of his newly finished bedroom before we leave - in all my spare time :-)

Ugh. That wasn't really Gina that left that comment. Although she is excited too (as is Lee). It was their dad who left it, using Gina's account (she now has a Google email address -- she got me in a moment of weakness at the East Grand Rapids library). Anyhow, the whole darn de Haan family is excited for you. :-) Brings back a lot of good memories.

yeah!!! congrats to you guys. so excited. and boy, do blogs really help in keeping people up to date without having to send tons of emails out! can't wait to hear back from you guys after he is officially yours!
